I’m Sebastian Sanchez, a Vancouver-based music producer, DJ, and entrepreneur building culture through sound, strategy, and community. I founded Tectonic Events and launched Geek Vancouver to create experiences that actually move people — from high-energy house nights to new-gen underground hip-hop events for all-ages crowds. I’ve been hands-on with nearly every event I’ve produced, handling booking, promotion, branding, and performing myself. For me, it’s never just about throwing a party — it’s about building a scene that feels fresh, intentional, and unforgettable.

I started making hip-hop music at 16 and quickly found momentum, building a following that led to sold-out venues in Victoria, BC shortly after graduating high school. What began as late nights recording and experimenting turned into real-world traction — packed rooms, growing fanbases, and the realization that I could build something bigger than just songs. That early success lit the spark for everything I’ve created since.

I’m a self-taught DJ and event organizer, learning the business from the ground up and executing every detail myself. I’ve performed at venues like the Hollywood Theatre and produced events that have sold over 400 tickets. From booking talent and marketing campaigns to running production and stepping behind the decks, I’ve built my career hands-on. My focus now is scaling that same energy into bigger rooms, stronger brands, and culture-shifting events.
